DSA PTSA Presents Teen Suicide Prevention Training

Colorado has the highest rate of teenage suicide in the country. This heartbreaking statistic moves us to hold an evening of training and discussion for our parent community here at DSA.
Join Us Monday, November 18 as your DSA PTSA presents Teen Suicide Prevention Training in conjunction with:
The Johnson Depression Center @University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus
From the CU Medical Campus, Alex Yannacone is a mental health professional trained in suicide prevention with an extensive background in implementation and trainings for prevention and intervention of mental health services and education.
Additional presentations will be made by Robbie’s HOPE, a group formed by Michelle Williams, AND also Joanne Olson, our DPS Healthcare Professional who will give an overview of the SOS (Signs Of Suicide) program currently presented to our 6th and 9th grade families.
