Advocacy and Policy Committee
Chair: POSITION OPEN
Advocacy and Policy committee informs the DSA PTSA membership about education issues and PTSA legislative goals. The committee encourages and assists PTSA members in becoming effective advocates. No legislative experience is needed—just a desire to get involved and help organize efforts on behalf of our students.
Every PTSA member is an advocate for children.
We are engaged in advocacy every time we support and speak up for children.
We are engaged in advocacy every time we support and speak up for children.
PTSA advocacy changes lives. PTSA has a long, successful history of influencing policy to promote children’s education, health and well-being—resulting in child labor laws, school lunch programs, and much more.
We need your voice! Working together, we can continue to make a difference for all children.
