Welcome to DSA’s PTSA!
Our Mission
How can we build family / school partnerships?
Communicating effectively – Families and DSA staff engage in regular, two-way and meaningful communication about student learning.
Supporting student success – Families and DSA staff collaborate to support student education and healthy development—both at home and at school—and have regular opportunities to strengthen their knowledge and skills to do so effectively.
Speaking up for every child – Families are empowered to be advocates for all children to ensure that students are treated fairly and have access to academic and performance opportunities that will support their success.
Partnering on influence – Create an equal partnership with families and DSA staff to determine and implement decisions that affect children and families. Inform, influence and create policies, practices and programs.
Collaborating within our community – Families and DSA staff collaborate with community members to connect students, families and staff to expanded learning opportunities, community service, performances and civic participation.
